The Villa Savoye

Just a quick update. Spent today not going to the Louvre, as it was closed, but walking the streets, browsing in shops and making the trek to Poissy to see Le Corbusier's wonderful Villa Savoye. We finally got to see some snow in Poissy (on the outskirts of Paris), and it was so soft! Still not very much of it though - just a light covering of the ground. I'll post more later (and more pictures).

    Nice house. Is it a museum now or did you just knock on the door and they let you in, or did you climb through the window? Pity Louvre was closed. Hope you see it later.

      Shayne gave me a leg up and then I pulled him in. Easy. It's open to the public - there were lots of American architecture students in there being serious and sketching. We went to the Louvre on Thursday morning before we left Paris - a quick trip but we saw the important things!
